Trust & safety
Fewer unknowns.
Better decisions.
Safety comes from consistent review, an attributable transaction record, secure checkout, tracked delivery, and timely human judgment when something goes wrong.
The safety model
Checks before,
during, and after.
No marketplace can promise that fraud never occurs. The Exchange reduces risk by making important evidence and actions visible, attributable, and reviewable.
Listing review
Submissions are checked for marketplace fit, required details, condition evidence, and usable photography before they become buyable.
Seller context
Profiles expose location, transaction history, reviews, and verification state so buyers can judge the counterparty.
Shopify checkout
Orders and payments remain on the connected checkout. Requests for wire transfers, gift cards, or outside payment are unsafe.
Tracked handover
Shipment, delivery, inspection timing, messages, disputes, refunds, and payout status stay attached to the order record.
Stop and report
Signals that should end the conversation.
- Pressure to pay or communicate outside The Exchange
- A payment screenshot offered instead of a confirmed order status
- Requests for passwords, one-time codes, or complete financial details
- A shipping address that conflicts with the protected order
- Sudden changes to the instrument, price, or included items after checkout
See something wrong?
Preserve the evidence and tell us.
Use “Report this listing” on the product page for listing-specific concerns. For an active order, open the issue from that order so the transaction, messages, and deadline stay attached.
